Animation13 poster is now available for download from the Press and Downloads page.

Available for download in A2 and A3 sizes.

This year we have featured the 2012 KS4 Group winning movie titled The Flight Of The Pigs, from Hutton Grammar School.

Isabel D’Cruz Animation12 Winner Awarded by Kenneth Flowers September 19, 2012 News

An audience of Colossusonline donors, The National Museum of Computing TNMOC members and the Flowers family gathered at TNMOC on Thursday evening for a special viewing of progress in the ongoing refurbishment of the Colossus Gallery.

One of the highlights of the evening was an award-winning short animation of The Life of Tommy Flowers made by the then 10-year-old Isabel D'Cruz. Isabel, who made the video in March this year, won the KS2 category of Animation12 at the University of Manchester in July. Kenneth Flowers, son of Tommy Flowers, was delighted with the video and presented a surprised Isabel with a Colossus valve and paper tape on behalf of TNMOC.

Animation13 Launch September 14, 2012 News

Animation13 launch date is Monday 24 September 2013.

Registration is now Open!

Some quick details:

Submission deadline: 22 March 2013
Eligible software: Alice, Scratch, Adobe Flash, Serif: Draw Plus,
KoolMoves, SWiSH Max4 and Blender
Submitted animations must be no more than 1 minute in length.
Animation13 Awards and Inspirational Computer Science Day: 12 July
2013, at the Martin Harris Centre, The UNiversity of Manchester.
