Choosing The Right Software For KS2?

Postby peettc » Wed Sep 29, 2010 10:00 am

Hi can anyone give me advice in choosing which software to use for my KS2 Class, I’ve looked at the Animation10 Winners Gallery (KS2 section) and can spot that Alice is quite popular. But not sure on the rest of the Films, from the looks of it "The Moon Landing" and "The School Trip" have been done by different programs can anyone give me an idea on the programs used that would be grand.

Thanks in advance

Hey,

I am using Scratch with my year 6s and they are really enjoying it. I have printed out a small booklet from the scratch website that covers all the basics like moving and adding sound. They are getting on well with thier movies so far. If would like any adivce on Scratch I would be more than happy to email you accross a copy of the booklet.

Hope this helps,

Iain
