Can I make a video / wepage of a Scratch project?

A teacher emailed us to ask if she could make a video from a Scratch project, or save a Scratch project on an arbitrary webpage.
This was our reply to her. If anyone can add to this, please let us know.
The usual way to play a scratch project is to play it inside Scratch -- this is because many scratch projects are interactive, so making a video of them often isn't appropriate.
If you do want to make a video, as far as we know the best way is to use a screen-recorder, like Camtasia http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp.
It is possible to put a scratch project into a webpage, such as a school webpage, but it requires some technical knowledge about using Java applets: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic ... d=763#p763
Best wishes
