We use Serif Draw plus X2 to teach our students both stop frame and key frame animation I was wondering if we could submit animations in either animated GIF, MPEG or AVI?

Hi ,

I am sorry, but we can only accept entries created using Alice, Scratch or Flash.

We're doing this in order to place some boundaries on the competition, and to provide some consistency in the nature of the entries. We have widened this from the 2008 competition, in which we only accepted Alice.

If we receive many enquiries such as yours, we will of course reconsider the arrangements for the next, 2010, competition, but I am afraid for 2009 we shall be sticking to Alice, Scratch and Flash.

I realise that this is disappointing for you, and I wish you and your pupils every success in the animation that they're doing.

With best wishes
Toby
