Animation Competition

Hi All
We're doing some entries thia year in Serif Drawplus. Does anybody know how to add sound (such as recorded dialogu) to the animation?

I've exported the file from Serif as an .avi file. Then imported this into Windows Moviemaker and imported sound and saved as a movie .wmv file.
I hope this will be an acceptable file format?
