Teaching Alice in your school

I have an ICT slot with each of the grades 7, 8 and 9 years. This term, I decided to teach Alice as a change from the word-processing - spreadsheet - presentation - webpage tradition, and my pupils love it. It is novel, challenging and fun - much more so than I could ever make Word processing. This competition is just the impetus I need to encourage them, and came along at just the right time. I am looking forward to the responses of my pupils.

Could the organisers perhaps put up samples of last year's winners so that my pupils can get an idea of what can be done?

Sure, they're already there (and there's a link on the Animation09 homepage): http://www.cs.manchester.ac.uk/Digital6 ... nners/KS2/
