We received 822 entries from 1,057 students from 127 schools across the UK!

There will be no Animation Awards Day this year.
Prizes have been mailed out to prize-winners.

Animation16 launches on 14 Sept 2015 and
the closing date for entering is 18 March 2016

Calling all school & college (and home-educated) students aged 7-19 ! Make a 1-minute animated film on your computer, enter our competition, and you could win great prizes! (read the rules & FAQ).

You can use Adobe Flash, Alice, Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Autodesk Maya, Blender, KoolMoves, Lightwave, Scratch, Serif DrawPlus or SWiSH Max4 (see details).

We’re delighted to be partnering with Autodesk’s Design The Future programme, which gives schools Maya and 3dS Max for free, together with downloadable lesson projects to get started.


There’s also the e-safety awards. Animations on the theme of keeping safe online can win prizes in a special category sponsored by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (see details).
